Well, Merry Christmas to all, and I wish I could offer more than a Christmas Day post, but here’s something: The entire Air Jordan 9 Retro Kilroy pack is now available online at a few retailers. Footlocker, Champs Sports and Eastbay all sported the six pairs of the pack on their front pages yesterday and today for a restock that went live at 8AM Eastern on Christmas Day, 12/25. Now with all of the retailers restocking the pack, there’s no word on whether there will be in-store launches, these restocks are online only.
Finish Line tweeted that they would also be restocking the pack of Retro 9’s on Christmas Day as well — although I had no luck finding them on their site. They then tweeted that they were sold out of the Calvin Bailey, Motorboat Jones, Bentley Ellis, and Fontay Montana colorways just recently.
This comes almost a month after the last of the pack was officially released on November 30th (Motorboat Jones). Ahead of these releases, supposedly the flagship Chicago Nike Store offered all six in the pack at once. Other than that, each shoe has been part of a series of quick-strike releases since October. The first in the pack, Johnny Kilroy, however, was a general release back on October 6th. I was able to cop a pair of the Bentley Ellis 9’s in a size 11 from Eastbay after about an hour of fumbling with their tedious checkout system. Although Footlocker, Champs and Eastbay are all connected, they are different companies. The upside to Eastbay is that they don’t charge tax in as many states — at least they don’t here in Missouri. Good luck if you’re looking to cop.
